Bout of Books

So I put smiley, frowning, and okay faces next to all the options so you could get a feel of what I was hoping to get and hoping not to get. I didn't want to put only good options on it or else that wouldn't be fun!!! If you want to know who any of the characters are, just comment down below. :)

Here are my results!

Yeah so the 50 years in jail really made my life shitty but other than that my life is pretty okay! And by the way, my BFF was Cara from Choker by Elizabeth Woods and I won't spoil anything because it's a pretty good book but just know that having her as your best friend could either be extremely good/safe for you.... or terribly bad and dangerous lolol.

So I had a lot of fun with this, I was actually just playing MASH last week lol but good luck to everyone during the read-a-thon!! :)

Bout of Books 14.0 Fictional World Travel Challenge

Bout of Books

This challenge is hosted by Leann over at betweenlibraryshelves.blogspot.com & the challenge is as follows: "Fictional World Travel Today's challenge is to list 3 to 6 books of fiction that take place in countries other than the one you currently reside in. Some countries are easy to find books set in them, but possibly the more challenging of picks will be the ones that intrigue the most. All you need to do is list the books of choice on your blog, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, etc., and display them how you wish. BE CREATIVE! Then come back here and link up your results, and then visit other participants' blogs and social media link-ups and see what books they chose for the challenge. "

Here's my entry!

1. Pivot Point by Kasie West, it would be sooo cool to be born with some awesome power!
2. Invaded/Alienated Series by Melissa Landers, a super-tech alien planet? Hell yes
3. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, probably just picked this because it's what I'm currently reading, I mean this world is pretty corrupt lol but it'd be amazing to meet the characters!

Thank you for the giveaway opportunity and good luck to everyone!!! :)

Bout of Books 14.0 Read-a-Thon TBR!

 Bout of Books 13

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 11th and runs through Sunday, May 17th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 13 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team.

I'm participating in the Bout of Books 14.0! This is my fourth time doing a Bout of Books read-a-thon and I'm very excited because I always seem to do more reading when I participate in them. :)

Here's my TBR for this week/read-a-thon!

1. I'm currently reading The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas & am on page 236 of 430
and hope to finish The Assassin's Blade this read-a-thon!

2. Next on my TBR is Heir of Fire by Sarah J, Maas which is 562 pages!!! It's been over a year since I've read a 500+ page book but I'm excited to get into it!
My goal is to get to page 277ish of Heir of Fire because that's about half and there's a chapter break on page 277. Seeing as summer is almost over, I already had a goal set for reading each day and if I followed that set goal, then my the end of the read-a-thon I'd only be on about page 150 of Heir of Fire but I'm going to push myself to read about 100 pages more!!! Hopefully haha.

Thanks for reading and good luck! :)

Early Bout of Books 13.0 Wrap Up! Also Favorite Read Photo Challenge Entry

Bout of Books

I finished I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson and it was the BEST. Seriously an instant favorite, I really want to say favorite book of all time and actually I will say it, it is my favorite of all time lol. Okay so that means I finished my TBR a day early and I don't think I'll be reading tomorrow but who knows.

Total pages read: 385
Total books started: 2 (1 unplanned; for school)
Total books finished: 1
Total books LOOVED: 1 <333

Also I'm using I'll Give You the Sun, which by the way I like the title but I feel like it could have had a better one idk, anyways it's my entry for the Favorite Read Photo Challenge by Once Upon a Chapter. You just post a photo of your favorite Bout of Books read and obviously in my case this is my ONLY BoB read but still like I said above, this is literally my favorite book now so this works out great. :) Anyways here's my entry:

I'm probably going to save reading again for Monday because I'm planning on participating in the RYBSAT read-a-thon that starts Monday. So that's all for now, I'm so happy I finished my TBR and also happy because the book was SO GOOD!!! Seriously read it.

Bout of Books read-a-thon Days 1-4 Update

Bout of Books

Here is how I'm doing over halfway through the read-a-thon! I always get really back into reading at the end of the school year, the past two years it really started in June but this year it's started a month early! Okay so I'm not reading a book a day (like I did in last year's annual BookTube-a-Thon ;) but I'm over halfway done with my goal, 64% way done to be exact, according to Goodreads. Here's my update:

Pages read: 253
Books finished: 0

So I'm on page 239 of I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson and it's soo wonderful, such a great book so far!! We also stared a new book in English class today and I got to read 14 pages of that.

Fahrenheit 451! I haven't read many classics because I'm always worried we're going to have to read them in class and having already read what we're going over will make class even more boring, lol. But anyways this book is pretty fucking weird so far, but at least it's not slow paced, if not confusing as hell. I hope I enjoy it though! Definitely won't be finishing it this week since it's an in-class read.

Okay that's all, hope to update again soon!!! (I'm pretty happy today if you couldn't tell by the explanation marks:))
